ACKBOO, worthy representative of the French dub stage, is a young producer from Toulouse who has already earned himself a strong reputation among the best independent dub producers.

Respecting the pure dub tradition, he created his own and strong identity which is known beyond our borders. He is an adept of a powerful and rhythmic electro dub and he sets himself among artists as Mad Professor and Kanka. He performs on machines and mixes with vintage effects on analog mixing desk.

He is the author of 3 albums, 6 vinyls and many singles which got great success and public recognition. He also received several rewards (including 3 Telerama keys for his second album Invincible).

Ackboo is broadcasted by numerous European sound systems; he also competes with the best producers in concert. What a long way he has been through since his first single produced with Manutention from Improvisators Dub! With more than 300 concerts in the company of the greatests like Horace Andy, Aba Shanti-l, Gentleman, Alborosie or Iration Steppas, Ackboo notably appeared in major events as the Rototom festival in Spain, The Outlook festival in Croatia, the Dour festival in Belgium and the Reggae Sun Ska in France. He was even elected favourite of the Telerama Dub Festival on the occasion of an exclusive creation with the artist Buch Chemists. His success led him to perform across Europe (Finland, Poland, Switzerland…) and on the American continent, in Mexico.

In 2018, Ackboo released Pharaoh, his third album entirely financed by his fans around the world. Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign which reached 12 000€, the album was welcomed like a real breath of fresh air and was acclaimed by the critics.

With a new album planned for 2020, Ackboo is one of the dub artist to follow for your further nights out. You can already listen to ‘Underground’, the first single (steppa and up tempo) from this new album, released on June 14th 2019 featuring Ras Mykha.
