New Infrabass Bomb !!!
DUBMATIX, Toronto’s new infrabass bomb, is out to infiltrate
the dub and reggae connection. Brought up to the sound of Jackie Mitoo
and King Tubby, JESSE KING a.k.a. DUBMATIX is the turntable for Jamaican
sound
in Canada thanks to his studio, “The Dub Factory”, where he runs
recording sessions, mixes and masterings.
After just producing for some time, now he’s hurled to the front of the stage and the result is rewarding. Many guests came to help him with this project, bringing their riddims on his hot bass lines.
A meeting point for the greatest: Freddie McGregor and Anthony B, but also Canadian soul voice Treson, as well as Howie Smart, Kwabena Reuben and Fredlocks.
DUBMATIX revives the artistically most prolific period for Jamaica, the groove is hot, the bass is breathtaking, the digital production will recall the origin of the movement to all electro bigwigs.
As
King Tubby & Jackie Mitoo’s legitimate heir, DUBMATIX has
already
conquered
Canada where ‘ATOMIC SUBSONIC’ got released in September 2006. Since
then, it
hasn’t stopped being played on college radios, so that in December it even
became
number 1 in the college radiocharts.
