The sonic sound of Portugal !!!
The trio of Three And A Quarter comes from Lisbon (Portugal) and is famous
for their intense and sometimes chaotic gigs.
Following in the steps of classic rock-reggae bands like The Clash, The Police and Bad Brain, they create an ingenious blend of dub and reggae, alternating dancehall rythms with more violent attacks of sonic-punk-rock.
The Three And A Quarter accumulated rewards for their music, gaining a national scale renown in their home country.
They also went for a five weeks tour of the United States, from one coast to the other, playing with bands such as Your Enemies’ Friends, SEV and The Riddlin’ Kids.
They are at the moment promoting their first album, Chubby Dubby, written and recorded by Jahnotion Records in New York.
Some of their tracks appeared in recent movie soundtracks (Step Into Liquid) as well as in compilations (Long Beach Record) and skate and surf DVDs (Rip Curl).
